Appendix A: Powershare Gateway Wall Bracket Anchoring Details

The Powershare Gateway mounting bracket is designed to be anchored to a framing member at any point within the bracket width. The following diagrams depict some available options for anchoring to a framing member; choose the slots that best align with the available framing member for any given installation.

Wood Studs / Drywall

If anchoring directly into studs, use two 2-inch wood screws and make sure to attach to at least one anchoring member.

Use two ¼-inch toggle anchors on the opposite side of the bracket furthest from the stud. It is highly recommended to use ¼-inch toggle anchors for drywall anchoring.

Concrete / Brick / Solid Walls

Use at least four #14 masonry anchors at the furthest slots on each corner.

Horizontal Channel Strut

Use the vertical slots to mount the bracket on the horizontal struts using at least four ¼-inch strut bolts.

Vertical Channel Strut

Use the horizontal slots to mount the bracket on vertical struts using at least four ¼-inch strut bolts.
