Working with a Certified Installer: Quick Guide
A Tesla Certified Installer will reach out shortly. For public installations (visible on Tesla Find Us Maps / In-Car Navigation), a Tesla Certified Installer is required. If you need assistance or would like us to refer you to a different team, please contact commercialcharging@tesla.com.

Installation Cost Drivers
Tesla Wall Connectors (also known as Destination or Level 2 chargers) are the most cost-effective charging solution available.
A complete, turnkey installation typically ranges from $2,000 to $5,000 per unit. This price includes the charging hardware, site assessment, design and engineering, electrical wiring, labor and materials, connectivity, permitting, and commissioning.
To keep costs low:
- Build close to power and mount on the wall where possible.
- Utilize existing capacity on your service (instead of setting up a new service).
- For long-dwell locations (e.g., multi-family, workplace, hospitality), consider daisy chaining or power sharing to optimize available power.
- Add Wi-Fi only if you intend to set up pay-per-use, want to be advertised on our network, or need data on the utilization and health of your chargers.
- Limit the civil scope and avoid saw cuts, concrete, or asphalt installation locations.
