Powerwall+ is an integrated AC battery that stores energy from solar production. It converts energy from solar panels or Solar Roof to be used by the home, and stores excess energy for future use. Every system contains at least one Powerwall+, with additional Powerwalls installed depending on your home’s energy consumption.

Backup Switch can be installed in partial and whole home backup systems.

Powerwall+ controls operation of the system, while the Backup Switch detects grid outages and manages the system's transition to and from backup operation. Backup Switch also performs home energy metering.
