Solar Panel and Panel Mount Warranties

Review your Warranty Agreement for detailed information about the coverage of your system over time.

Equipment Warranty

In addition to the Tesla Solar Panel and Panel Mount warranties, the other equipment in your system is warrantied by Tesla (for Powerwall, Tesla Solar Inverter, and Tesla Mid-Circuit Interrupter (MCI)) or the manufacturer (for third party solar inverters). If you experience any issues with your equipment during the warranty period, please visit Get Help and Service for Your Solar System so Tesla can help you file a warranty claim. When you need to replace your equipment after its warrantied life, please contact Tesla and we will help you obtain and install a replacement, at your cost.

How to Get Warranty Service

In the rare case that your solar system is not running properly, please see Get Help and Service for Your Solar System to contact Tesla. If Tesla determines that a problem cannot be diagnosed or resolved remotely, Tesla will troubleshoot the issue and arrange for service. If the issue is covered by warranty, your solar system will be repaired at no cost to you. If the issue is not covered by your warranty, Tesla will assist you in resolving the issue and service charges may apply.
