Removing Right Side Cover

Tools and Equipment:
  • HV protective glove set rated for 500 VAC/750 VDC, Class 00
  • Safety glasses
  • Wire, 0.5 m (18 in) long
  1. Turn off power to the Powerwall system (Powerwall+ Lockout/Tagout).
  2. Use a wire to wrap around the openings (Figure 1, 1) at the top of the right side cover. Pull on the wire to detach the right side cover.
  3. Gently remove the side cover starting from the top and moving towards the bottom.

    CAUTION
    The side cover includes harness assemblies connected to the fan assembly. Use caution when removing the side cover to avoid damaging the fan assembly and harness assemblies.
  4. Unplug the LED (Figure 2, 1) and power harnesses (2) from the fan assembly.
