UL 1741: Summary of Testing and Performance Requirements
- Protection against electrical hazards such as overcurrent, overvoltage, and short circuits
- Ability to withstand physical impacts and prevent the release of hazardous materials in the event of a failure
- Safe operation when exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions
- Accurate performance, including efficiency, power output, and response time
- Reliable communication functionality with other system components and resistance to security threats including cyber-attacks
- Grid interoperability and safe response to grid failures or abnormal conditions, validated per IEEE 1547 requirements
