For systems that require DRM0 functionality, the Tesla Grid Utility Ancillary Controller (GUAC) interface device is installed with a DRED controller, and is wired to the Powerwall 3 Tesla Asset Controller (TACO). For more information on the installation process, see the installation manual.

To configure the system for DRM0 functionality:

1. Select External Switch from the Advanced Settings page.
2. Toggle Configure External SwitchON.
3. From the Control Behavior menu, select DRM0.
