Powerwall 3 Removal Procedure (with PW3 Dolly)

Required tools:
- T20 Torx driver
- Drill
- ¾" or 19 mm socket
- Nitrile gloves
- Powerwall 3 crate
- Powerwall 3 dolly
- Follow the steps outlined in De-energizing Powerwall 3 to prepare Powerwall for removal.

Set the speed on the drill to 1
(low speed, high torque) and set the clutch to the highest position before the drill icon.
Equip a ¾" or 19 mm socket on the drill.
CAUTIONDo not use an impact driver.

Attach the drill to the acme
screw on the Powerwall 3 dolly and fasten with the Velcro strap.

Make sure the lifting plate is
at the lowest position

Lift the locking plate, and
release. Ensure that the locking plate does not stick in the raised position,
and bounces back to the lower, resting position.

Remove the two lifting handles
from the dolly and install them to the four mounting points on Powerwall.
NoteMake sure to install the rounded handle on the top of Powerwall, and angled handle on the bottom of Powerwall.

Move the dolly to in front of Powerwall.

Raise the lifting plate to match the Powerwall height.

Pull the locking plate to engage
the dolly onto Powerwall.

Raise the base plate to
disengage Powerwall from the mounting bracket.

Hold the brake and tilt back the dolly to fully dismount Powerwall from the
mounting bracket.

Drop the base plate to the
lowest position.

Move the dolly and Powerwall to
the packaging.
NoteUse the handbrake on the top handle, if necessary.CAUTIONAlways put the base plate in the lowest position when moving the dolly with Powerwall attached.

Raise the base plate so that
Powerwall matches the packaging height.

With a second operator, attach the crate to Powerwall.

With one foot stepping the
bottom of the packaging as a pivot and each operator holding crate and dolly
handle on each side, slowly bring packaging with Powerwall down to the
ground.

Pull the locking plate to unlock
the dolly from Powerwall.

Remove the dolly from Powerwall.

Remove the two lifting handles
from Powerwall and install them back onto the dolly.
