Powerwall 3 Mounting Procedure (with PW3 Dolly)
Part numbers: Powerwall 3 Dolly -

Required tools:
- T20 Torx driver
- Drill
- ¾" or 19 mm socket
- Nitrile gloves
- Powerwall 3 dolly

Set the speed on the drill to 1
(low speed, high torque) and set the clutch to the highest position
before the drill icon. Equip a ¾" or 19 mm socket on the drill.
CAUTIONDo not use an impact driver.

Attach the drill to the acme
screw on the Powerwall 3 dolly and fasten with the Velcro strap.

Make sure the base plate is at
the lowest position

Lift the locking plate, and
release. Ensure that the locking plate does not stick in the raised position,
and bounces back to the lower, resting position.

Place Powerwall 3 crate on the
floor and open the crate with Powerwall 3 facing up.

Remove the two lifting handles
from the dolly and install them to the four mounting points on Powerwall.
NoteMake sure to install the rounded handle on the top of Powerwall, and angled handle on the bottom of Powerwall.

Lift the dolly with one operator
holding the top handle and the other operator holding the bottom. Then attach
the dolly to Powerwall by inserting the base plate between the bottom of
Powerwall and the packaging.

Lift the locking plate to engage
the dolly to the lifting handles on Powerwall, then release.
NoteLook through the dolly to make sure both lifting handles are secured to the dolly.

Stand up the dolly and
Powerwall, with one foot planted at the bottom of the packaging as a pivot, and
each operator holding packaging and dolly handle on each side.

Remove the packaging from
Powerwall with the other operator holding the dolly.

Move the dolly with Powerwall to
the mounting location.
NoteUse the brake on top handle if necessary.CAUTIONAlways put lifting plate in the lowest position when moving the dolly with Powerwall attached.

Move Powerwall toward the mounting wall, until Powerwall touches the wall
gently. Then, straighten up the dolly.

Hold the brake, step on the bottom rail as a pivot, and tilt back the dolly
about 30 degrees.

Use the drill to lift Powerwall
to the height, based on the wall bracket position.
CAUTIONAlways tilt dolly back 30 degrees when lifting Powerwall to avoid tilting forward or catching the wall bracket.

After lifting the Powerwall to
enough height, tilt forward to the wall. Use a spotter to make sure Powerwall is
aligned to the wall bracket on all four flanges.

With the guide from a spotter,
lower Powerwall until it's fully sitting on all four wall bracket flanges.

Lift the locking plate and tilt
the dolly back to detach from Powerwall.

Drop the lifting plate to the
lowest position.
CAUTIONAlways put the lifting plate in lowest position when not holding the dolly to avoid tilting forward

Remove the two lifting handles
from Powerwall and install them back onto the dolly.
