before the drill icon. Equip a ¾" or 19 mm socket on the drill.
CAUTIONDo not use an impact driver.
- Attach the drill to the acme screw on the Powerwall 3 dolly and fasten with the Velcro strap.
- Make sure the base plate is at the lowest position

- Place Powerwall 3 crate on the floor and open the crate with Powerwall 3 facing up.
-
Remove the two lifting handles
from the dolly and install them to the four mounting points on Powerwall.
NoteMake sure to install the rounded handle on the top of Powerwall, and angled handle on the bottom of Powerwall.
- Lift the dolly with one operator holding the top handle and the other operator holding the bottom. Then attach the dolly to Powerwall by inserting the base plate between the bottom of Powerwall and the packaging.
-
Lift the locking plate to engage
the dolly to the lifting handles on Powerwall, then release.
NoteLook through the dolly to make sure both lifting handles are secured to the dolly.
- Stand up the dolly and Powerwall, with one foot planted at the bottom of the packaging as a pivot, and each operator holding packaging and dolly handle on each side.
- Remove the packaging from Powerwall with the other operator holding the dolly.
-
Move the dolly with Powerwall to
the mounting location.
NoteUse the brake on top handle if necessary.CAUTIONAlways put lifting plate in the lowest position when moving the dolly with Powerwall attached.
- Move Powerwall toward the mounting wall, until Powerwall touches the wall gently. Then, straighten up the dolly.
- Hold the brake, step on the bottom rail as a pivot, and tilt back the dolly about 30 degrees.
-
Use the drill to lift Powerwall
to the height, based on the wall bracket position.
CAUTIONAlways tilt dolly back 30 degrees when lifting Powerwall to avoid tilting forward or catching the wall bracket.
- After lifting the Powerwall to enough height, tilt forward to the wall. Use a spotter to make sure Powerwall is aligned to the wall bracket on all four flanges.
- With the guide from a spotter, lower Powerwall until it's fully sitting on all four wall bracket flanges.
- Lift the locking plate and tilt the dolly back to detach from Powerwall.
-
Drop the lifting plate to the
lowest position.
CAUTIONAlways put the lifting plate in lowest position when not holding the dolly to avoid tilting forward
- Remove the two lifting handles from Powerwall and install them back onto the dolly.
