Filling the Tires

Overview

The Powerwall dolly uses pneumatic tires, which can slowly lose air over time. It is best practice to regularly check the tire pressure in both tires (every three months, or earlier if the tires feel soft), and inspect them for signs of distortion, damage, and wear.

The target tire pressure for the Powerwall dolly is 45 psi (3.1 bar).

Tools and Equipment

  • Tire pressure gauge
  • Air compressor or bicycle tire pump with attachment for a Schrader valve

  1. Remove the valve cap.
  2. Use the pressure gauge to measure the tire pressure.
  3. If necessary, adjust the tire pressure to the target of 45 psi (3.1 bar). If the tire is overfilled with the pump, release some pressure by pressing the metal stem in the middle of the valve.
  4. Re-install the valve cap once the target pressure is reached.
