Issue: Minimum Software Version is Not Available

The minimum software versions required to commission a Powershare system are:
  • Universal Wall Connector: 24.44 or later
  • Powershare Gateway: 24.44.2 or later
If the minimum software versions are not available at the time of device setup, contact Tesla and ask for the software packages to be staged. Take the following photos in preparation:
  • Powershare Gateway serial number label (located on deadfront)
  • Universal Wall Connector serial number label (located on printed Quick Start Guide in box, as well as on the back side of the Wall Connector faceplate)

Take a photo of the label inside Wall Connector before installing the faceplate and completing the installation.

Issue: Negative Loads Alert

When performing device setup on a Powershare system with a solar inverter, Tesla One displays a Negative Loads alert. This is normal and expected behavior, because Solar metering is not yet available for Powershare Home Backup systems; Solar metering with Tesla Remote Energy Meter will be available in 2025. No action is required.

This issue occurs whether or not the solar inverter is in the backup circuit.
