Powershare System Device Setup in Tesla One

Connect to Wall Connector to Update Software and Configure Breaker Limit

  1. In Tesla One, connect to Universal Wall Connector.
  2. Connect Universal Wall Connector to the customer's Wi-Fi network.
  3. Update Universal Wall Connector to software version 24.44 or later.
  4. Select the Universal Wall Connector's breaker size to automatically configure the Max Output Current.

Connect to Powershare Gateway to Update Software

  1. In Tesla One, connect to Powershare Gateway.
  2. Connect Powershare Gateway to the customer's Wi-Fi network.
  3. Update Powershare Gateway to software version 24.44.2 or later.

Pair Universal Wall Connector with Powershare Gateway

  1. Select System, then Scan for Devices.
  2. Select Universal Wall Connector and confirm the vitals are healthy.

Select Grid Code and Start System

  1. Select Settings, then Grid Code.
  2. Make the appropriate selections for the installation. The Powershare Grid Code will automatically be selected.
  3. Return to the landing page and Start System.

Register the System

Note
Ensure the Universal Wall Connector has been successfully paired to Powershare Gateway (see Pair Universal Wall Connector with Powershare Gateway above) before completing customer registration. This is required so that both Powershare Gateway and Universal Wall Connector will be registered to the customer, ensuring their system appears in the mobile app correctly.
