In Powerhub, to assist in working with energy assets from one or more sites, assets are displayed in the user interface in a hierarchy (see Powerhub User Interface). Terminology is used in this hierarchy as defined below:

(Fleet) → [Instance → (Group) → (Subgroup) → Site → Equipment: Targets]

• Fleet: All of a customer's sites which have energy equipment.
• Site: A single location with telemetry data coming from batteries, solar, generators, site load, and grid consumption.
• Equipment: Energy assets including batteries, generators, and solar inverters.
• Target: Data available for specific equipment. Select targets from the drop-down list in Graphing View (see Graphing Feature for Data Visualization).
• Instance: Contains all groups and sites in the fleet. The root of a hierarchy of sites and their associated data in a customer portfolio. User access to data is granted at the instance level.
