either a single Powerwall unit, a Powerpack system, a solar PV system,
or a Tesla Gateway. |

An individual site that could include one or more
battery devices, with all of those devices controlled by a single
logical Tesla Gateway or Tesla Site Controller. All queries to the
Powerhub API return responses from the Site level, with the exception of
aggregate signals and aggregate controls. |
| Sub-group |
A collection of one or more Sites. |
| Group |
A collection of one or more Sites and/or Sub-groups.
Groups retrieve data
that is aggregated across multiple devices / sites. |
| Instance |
A collection of one or more Groups. Each customer is
granted access to one instance. |
| UUID |
Universally unique identifier. Each site, group,
sub-group, device, and instance has a 128-bit UUID that distinguishes it
from any other targets. |
