The Powerhub API uses the below AC power sign convention for telemetry signals and for determining control points for each system. The direction of each arrow indicates the direction of power flow, and the sign of each arrow indicates whether that power flow is positive or negative.

For example:

• Battery:
  • +50 kW indicates battery discharge of 50 kW
  • -50 kW indicates battery charge of 50 kW
• Solar PV Generation (if applicable):
  • +50 kW indicates device generation of 50 kW
  • -10 W indicates device consumption of 10 Watts
• Utility / Site Meter (if applicable):
  • +50 kW indicates net site consumption of 50 kW
  • -50 kW indicates net site export of 50 kW
• Metered Loads (if applicable):
  • +50 kW indicates consumption of 50 kW
