Note
Ensure the Solar Inverter is on software version 22.9 or later (see Software Card for instructions to update the system software).

Scan QR Code to Pair a Wireless Meter

Beginning with software version 22.9, a Neurio meter with a QR code printed on the label can be paired by simply scanning that QR code. A QR code can be identified by squares in three of the four corners of the code:

If the label has a datamatrix instead of a QR code, see Pair Meter Manually.

To pair a new meter:

  1. Select the arrow for Metering.
  2. Power cycle the Neurio W2 meter and wait to hear the startup chime. Ensure the meter LED is solid green, indicating the meter is ready to pair.

  3. Select the Scan Barcode button.
  4. Using the configuration device, take a photo of the barcode on the Neurio meter:
    1. Cover the Neurio LED to reduce glare.
    2. Position the device's camera approximately 10 inches from the label with the QR code centered in the frame.
    3. Take a photo.
    4. Select Use Photo.
  5. Configure the CTs to match the locations where they were installed.
  6. On the landing page, review the Site Meter and Tesla Solar Inverter Meter values and ensure they match the expected values.
