Once the system has been installed but before it has been set up, confirm each device serial number matches the serial number listed in Tesla One. This step is critical to ensure the customer sees their devices in the Tesla app.

1. In Tesla One, select the job.
2. Select Devices.
3. On the Devices page, scroll down to Registration. Note that each product is highlighted red with a Verification required note.

   

4. For each device:
   1. Select the device.
   2. Verify that the serial number matches the sticker on the installed device.
      Note

      The serial number in Tesla One may contain lower case letters while the serial number on the sticker is all caps; please ignore case and simply verify that the numbers and letters match.
   3. If the serial number matches, select Mark As Verified.

      

   4. If the serial number does not match:
      1. Select Deactivate.
      2. In the Serial number field, enter the correct number (found on the sticker).
      3. Select Add serial number.
