Powerwall+ is designed to operate in all climates, in direct sunlight, from temperatures of –4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).

In areas that can experience prolonged temperatures below 14°F (-10°C), Tesla recommends using the optional cold weather kit (Tesla P/N 1766691-xx-y) for optimal system efficiency. See Appendix I: Installing the Cold Weather Kit for instructions to install the cold weather kit.
