Partial-Home Backup
- If Non-backup loads are connected to the Non-Backup Lugs, Site-level metering is performed by integrated Site CTs.
- If Non-backup loads are upstream of the Gateway, Site-level metering is performed by integrated Site CTs plus additional 100 A CTs on L1/L2 of non-backup circuit, or by remote meters at the point of interconnection.
- The internal panelboard kit may be used for Generation breakers or Non-Backup loads.
- Neutral-Ground Bonding Strap installed only if Gateway is Service Equipment.

Note
Powerwall+ can be landed at an external
generation panel, as shown above, or at the Backup Gateway internal panelboard as
shown in Partial Home Backup with Meter
Load Center.

Note
In this example, the
upstream loads can only be metered by the Internal Auxiliary Meter if they are less than
100 A. Otherwise, Neurio CTs must be used with the Powerwall+ factory-installed Neurio meter, or
with an additional remote meter.
