Step 6: Close the Wiring Compartments and Replace the Covers
- Arrange the communication and AC power wires inside the Powerwall+ and Powerwall wiring compartments.
- Ensure that all conduit junctions and cable entry points are secure and properly sealed.

Replace the wiring compartment
cover on Powerwall+ and each Powerwall. Ensure that the cover seats properly on the gasket so
that the compartment is sealed. Tighten the fasteners using a Torx T20 bit.
Torque to 1.5 Nm.
NoteEnsure the Rapid Shutdown wiring harness that is routed through the Powerwall+ wiring compartment cover is not disconnected. If this harness is disconnected, the Enable switch will not function and the system will not operate.
- Replace each of the side covers on the each unit by pushing the top into place and working toward the bottom to reattach it to the clips along the length of the unit.

(Optional) In humid or rainy climates, or in locations where the installation
may be exposed to salt, fog, or other corrosive elements use a small applicator
(such as a wooden craft stick or cotton swab) to apply a generous bead of heavy
duty water-resistant grease around the outside edge of each camshaft head where
it contacts the side clip.

Place a magnetic camshaft cap on each of the four hex camshaft heads
