Installer Registration

Installer registration is an important step for tracking install quality, and it allows the installer to view the site in Powerhub. Once installer registration has been completed, it cannot be changed in Tesla One and instead must be updated by Install Support.

Select Installer Info to verify the Company Name, phone number, and email; enter these details if they are not present.

Customer Registration

Customer registration allows the customer to view their system in the Tesla app.

Note

If customer registration is not completed, the customer will not have access to the system in the mobile app. Ensure customer registration is completed!

In Tesla One, select the job from the schedule to automate app access.

If the job does not appear on the schedule, select Show a code or Text the customer to allow the customer to enter their information.

If selecting Show a code, the customer must scan the QR code with their mobile device camera, then follow the instructions to enter information.

If the customer is not available, select Customer is Unavailable and complete the registration form on their behalf.

Note

Customer registration will fail if the system is not running. Ensure the system is running before trying to register it.
