Launch Device Setup in Tesla One

  1. Launch the Tesla One app and log in with your Tesla Partner Portal account credentials.

    The Training Required alert will automatically appear for any installer who has not yet completed the required Powerwall 3: Final Exam for Installers training.
    • To complete this mandatory training, select Open Training Page (or select the Powerwall 3: Final Exam for Installers link directly) and complete the training in Partner Portal. The alert will no longer appear once a passing score of 80% or higher has been achieved
    • To complete the training another time, select Continue Anyway and proceed to the device setup experience
  2. Select Begin Install > Scan QR Code.
  3. Alternatively, you can select More > Tesla Device Setup > Scan QR Code.
  4. Scan the QR code on Powerwall 3 to join its Wi-Fi network and launch device setup.

    Apple users may be prompted to allow Tesla One to find and connect to devices on the local network. Select Allow or OK, as this is required to join the Powerwall 3 Wi-Fi network.
