• Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, protective footwear)
• Drill with applicable drill bits
  • 3/16 in (5 mm) and 3/32 in (2.5 mm) drill bits are required to install Universal Wall Connector
• Torque screwdriver with 1/4-inch bit holder and T20 Torx bit
• Wire strippers/cutters for 24 AWG to 250 kcmil (0.2 mm to 120 mm) wires
• Installation tools (level, stud sensor, tape measure, pencil, painter's tape, flashlight)
• Multimeter and Loop Impedance Tester
• Digital camera or smartphone for documenting the installation

Powershare Gateway Installation Tools

• Torque wrench with 3/8-, and 5/16-, and 7/16-inch hex bits (for Gateway power connections)
• Socket wrench with 7/16-inch hex socket
• Up to 3 mm or 3/32 inch cabinet tip or electronics tip slotted screwdriver for RS-485 wiring terminals

Universal Wall Connector Installation Tools

• Small (2 mm) flathead screwdriver (for wiring connector spring terminals)

Backup Switch Installation Tools

• Arc flash personal protective equipment, minimum Category 2 as defined in NFPA 70E
• 6.2-inch diameter Meter puller
• Phillips PH2 screwdriver
• TESCO Hot Socket Gap Indicator Tool
