Note
While all configurations listed below can be installed at the time of publication, the Powershare feature is only available for Powerwall 3 at time of publication. Feature availability for Powerwall+ and Powerwall 2 is coming soon.
  1. Install the Powerwall system as described in the relevant Powerwall installation manual:
  2. Ensure the Wall Connector breaker is installed inside the backup circuit.
A Powerwall system with Wall Connector does not require any additional equipment or installation steps; Powershare functionality will be enabled with a software update.

Do not install Powershare Gateway with a Powerwall system. Do not attempt to run communication wiring between the Wall Connector and the Powerwall or Backup Gateway / Backup Switch.
