Neurio Meter Failed to Add / Not Connecting
The Neurio meter is not connecting and does not appear on the Devices tab of the System page
Steps to Troubleshoot
- Confirm the meter is compatible
with the system:
- Tesla-approved W1 meter serial numbers start with "OBB..."
- Tesla-approved W2 meter serial numbers start with "VAH..."
- Serial numbers that start with any other prefix are not Tesla-approved and are not compatible
- Verify the Neurio Short ID and serial number were entered correctly (select the meter from the Meters page and compare the Short ID and serial number with those on the sticker on the meter). If either value was entered incorrectly, delete the meter and add it again (see Pair a Neurio Remote Energy Meter in the Setup App Commissioning Guide for instructions)
- Confirm the antenna is installed on the Neurio meter. If needed, extend the antenna so that it is installed outside the electrical panel:
